MY VERDICT: Miranda arrived in Tokyo yesterday morning to kick off a few days of press to promote her involvement with the Samantha Thavasa handbag collection. The Australian model carried a luxe navy leather “Azayle” satchel with gold padlock detail as she made her way through Narita International Airport.
As for her traveling style, Miranda looked effortless—not at all like she just spent the last several hours on a plane, wearing a lively bright orange and olive Wes Gordon handkerchief corset dress. The Spring 2013 design features vibrant feathered prints and a breezy asymmetric hemline. This was originally presented as a top and paired with navy trousers, so I like how Miranda kept the color theme going with the addition of her bag.
She continued to play with contrast by getting quirky with her footwear! Miranda wore the Bionda Castana “Molly” satin leopard printed heels with a laced up corset ankle wrap. #ShoeEnvy? You betcha.
